My first published cover on Lurlene! My mom bought me this keyboard when I was 13 or 14 and I’ve played her consistently for the 20 years since. Two of her keys don’t work (Low A and A Flat), the voices other than “Piano 1” are wretched, but I love her. She done me well.

Death Cab has always been a fave of mine, I think Ben Gibbard is a fantastic lyricist. This song got stuck in my head and so (like I always do) I sat down to learn it so I could enjoy playing and singing it. No clue why I decided to record and post it but it started something that has brought me a lot of joy over the years. Truth be told, I’m really doing Stuck In My Head Music for me. It’s a nice, tidy way to keep these in one place (and not just saved on my phone) 🤓
