This song always makes me so happy when I catch it on the radio ‘round this time of year. The lyrics of course are insane but Gayla’s elvish, high-pitched voice and the Souza style brass in the middle all mix into a wild and wonderful tune.

I tried a few things with the vocals to imitate an old-radio-mic sound as an homage to Gayla, but nothing I could ever do in editing would come close to her blowout performance on this number.

Also, I say with all sincerity how thankful I am to each of you for watching my videos! I would record and post them anyway because it’s just what I like to do 🤷🏻‍♂️, but knowing that I might brighten your day from time to time with a new cover makes it even better. To my U.S. based friends, I hope you had a terrific holiday today! 🦃
