Regina Spektor is a hero of mine. She plays piano wonderfully, but she also self-released her first three records! I admire anyone who doesn’t wait around for something to happen, especially when it comes to the art they create.

This song comes from her album Far which is my favorite, highly recommended! I bought this album in 2009 on CD (ahh the olden times) when I was working at Barnes and Noble and could get a discount in the Music section. The moment I was home, I popped it in, laid on the couch, and listened to the whole thing front-to-back. Felt like listening to a storybook, and it’s a really nice memory. Thanks Regina!
