The day has finally arrived! My number one favorite Christmas song of 2021 is here 🎶

I adore this song; I think it’s perfect for this holiday. Jazz Christmas is already the best Christmas, but add in some Nat vocals, some strings, and those delightfully sweet lyrics and this song makes me feel warm and happy every time.

I thought it was super interesting that according to Mel Tormé (co-author), it was written when he saw his writing partner jotting down phrases like “Jack Froat nipping” “Folks dressed up like Eskimos” on a notepad in the middle of July. He was doing this just to manifest some cold thoughts and beat the heat, but Mel thought it would make a great Christmas song and they wrote it in about 40 minutes! Amazing 🤩
