Souvenir

I am pretty obsessed with this album and listen to it front to back several times a year. And the fun fact is true, whenever I get a new car I have to listen to Flaming Pie in its entirety before I can listen to anything else, it’s good luck. My last car caught on fire though (also true) so maybe I ought to rethink that tradition.

This song was such a joy to learn, the chords have an interesting build-and-resolve quality that culminates in the see-saw blues chorus. Lots of fun to play!

The message also hits true - I think a major part of my life’s mantra is “If I can be of any help, tell me how”. Served me well so far!
