Blindsided

Bon Iver has long been inspirational to me. As I heard the story, for his debut album, he took some recording equipment to a cabin in the woods in New England somewhere and cranked out a lush and heartbreaking (and ultimately Grammy award-winning record) all by himself.

If you haven’t noticed, I kinda dig the “do-it-yourself” mentality of a one-man-band. It’s the Aquarius in me.

As for the black-and-white motif (and accompanying VHS artifacts) in this video, I’ve been watching WandaVision and been really loving the throwback sitcom vibes. Thought it might be fun to style it up a bit and the tune fit quite nicely I thought!

Don’t forget to check out Bon Iver’s Wikipedia and I hope you enjoy the song!
